After a busy Tuesday of action around the Commonwealth and DC, tonight is a lighter night, with only three of the Power 25 in action.
No. 10 Glen Allen at Patrick Henry (Ashland)
The Jaguars picked up a conference win on Tuesday with a blowout victory over J.R. Tucker. Glen Allen’s offense has been hot during their current win streak, and it is one of the better offenses one to nine in the state.
Liberty (Bedford) at No. 14 Jefferson Forest
Jefferson Forest will take a week off of Conference 23 play with a pair of Seminole District games on the schedule. Up first is Liberty (Bedford) this evening with Brookville on Friday. After Indiana Hall’s (Concord) first extended outing of the spring last Friday, look for the Cavaliers to shift to a rotation with Hall and Zach Peek (Winthrop) throwing on different days this week.
No. 19 Kettle Run at John Champe
This Conference 22 matchup pits two teams coming into the game off of opposite results Tuesday. Both played non-conference matchups against quality opponents, and Kettle Run hung in against a good pitcher early at Eastern View before exploding offensively to win by the run rule late. Champe had a rough night as they were shut out by Loudoun Valley and held to just three hits.
Liberty (Bealeton) at Freedom (South Riding)
Patriot at Potomac
Stonewall Jackson at Osbourn
Tuscarora at Lee
Huguenot at Collegiate
Benedictine at Saint John Paul the Great
Armstrong at Petersburg
Prince George at Varina
Bath County at Pendleton County (WV)
Bland County at Narrows
Martinsville at Altavista
Craig County at Roanoke Catholic
