Waverly High School put together an impressive 2012 campaign with a 18-9 record. However, the Tigerstournament run was cut short in the sectional finals.
This year, Coach Noble’s squad returns six starters and three starting pitchers. With a blend of talent from different classes, the Waverly squad will look to unseat Wheelersburg as champion of the Southern Ohio Conference.

- OF/RHP Paul Underwood – The 5-foot-10, 155-pound athletic prospect hit .398 last season.
- RHP Adam Tiu – The 5-foot-10, 180-pound righty uses a low 80’s fastball along with a sharp 12/6 curveball to lead the Tigers’ staff.
- Corey Johnson – The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect is a soft tossing southpaw that fills it up with strikes.
Class of 2014
- IF/RHP Eric Rinehart – The 6-foot-3, 160-pound corner infielder hit .402 last season.
- UTL/RHP Tyler Nartker – The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect will be counted on for his versatile skill set and knuckle ball on the mound.
- RHP/1B Cam Ramsey – The 5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed pitcher provides a different look on the mound from a side arm slot.
