Scouting Report

8/4/17 FUTRE GAMES: Trinkle showed high-energy all over the outfield, and with his 6.74-speed, he was able to track balls down with ease while showing off above average hands. At the plate hits from a balanced setup from a slightly crouched position allowing him to load his weight back along with his hands, and then transfer it back forward with quick hands striking the ball, and producing line drives from gap to gap.

Moves well and takes good angles.  Offensively, uses a leg kick as timing trigger while hands load back.  Big movements, at times lot of head movement.  Creates a long, slightly uphill path.  Loud contact during his round of batting practice.  Should continue to fill in physically and add more bat speed.  Already has a top exit velocity of 85mph.  High follow in 2020 class.
