Power 25 Rankings Updated
March 18, 2019
The 2019 Louisiana high school season is near the halfway mark, as teams around the state begin district play this week. Although the season is still young, some teams have already begun to separate themselves, causing plenty of shakeup in the updated Power 25 team rankings.
The top of the list remains largely the same, as district 3-5A perennial powers Barbe HS (8-1) and Sam Houston HS (10-0) have gotten out to fast starts and appear to be the teams to beat in class 5A.
Brother Martin HS (14-1), checks in at No. 3 in the updated list, as the Crusaders look to be the premier team in Division I this year. The top five is rounded out with Zachary HS (7-2) and University Lab HS (6-2), coming in at Nos. 4 and 5 respectively.
Mandeville HS (10-2), and South Beauregard HS (12-3) crack the Power 25 for the first time in 2019, as both clubs have gotten out to outstanding starts this Spring.
Below is a look at the top ten of the updated Power 25 rankings. The complete list for PBR+, ProspectPLUS, and ScoutPLUS subscribers can be found HERE.
