Player Spotlight: RHP Cameron Gauthier

Athletic 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame with room to fill. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, tall setup, loads with subtle leg lift, short stride, and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and quick hands that produced an exit velocity of 87 mph. On infield worked into athletic fielding position with easy actions and smooth footwork. Clean exchange and medium arm swing into high-3/4 release producing an infield velocity of 76 mph. Quality athlete posted a 6.88 60-yard dash.  Right-handed pitcher with extremely athletic delivery, fluid rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with easy effort and quick arm speed. Pitched 85-87 mph with his fastball showing life and carry through the zone, and ability to pitch to both sides of the plate. Breaking ball showed solid spin with depth and gradual break at 67-71 mph. Also showed advanced feel for a changeup with late, hard fade action, depth, deception, and fastball arm speed.
