Arkansas Scouting Director
Coming from PBR Arkansas' first event at Little Rock Christian Academy, Luke Bandy has climbed the ranking ladders topping out at No. 3 in the statewide rankings and No. 147 on the national circuit. Combined with his on-field success with Shiloh Christian and Rawlings Prospects, and his growth as a player demonstrated through continued improvements through PBR events, Bandy earned an invite to our most prestigious event—Super 60 Showcase.
An event scouted by over 100 MLB baseball scouts with 62 of the top players in the country in attendance. We take one of our final looks on a player that has trusted our services from the beginning. We're so excited to see where his baseball career will go and are anxious to see him succeed at a high level. Bandy is just one example of Arkansas talent getting the exposure it deserves.
Luke Bandy, MIF, Providence Academy
Bandy is 6-foot 180-pound middle infielder with an athletic build and frame. He runs a 6.69 in the 60. He plays through the baseball with fluid foot work, and some stiffness to his glove actions. He has fluid exchange with a quick clean arm action. He throws the ball up to 88 mph across the infield. He attacks the baseball with fast bat speed producing exit velocities up to 94 mph. His stance is tall and works with a slight uphill bat path. He has shown the ability to hit the ball to the opposite field on a consistent basis. Overall Bandy is a superior athlete and will only get better the more he plays the game.
