Player Spotlight: LHP Mitchell Martin

1/28/18 Stocky, athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 175-pounds. Left-handed pitcher throwing from a short, high-3/4 release and regular effort in delivery really loading on backside. Smooth rhythm, with level shoulders staying compact as he works down the mound with in-line direction.  Fastball sat 77-79 mph and was commanded around the zone. Breaking ball showed 2/7-shape with depth at 68-69 mph. Change up showed slight arm side action with near fastball arm speed at 70-71 mph.
