Byers is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound LHP who quickly established himself as a top 2020 prospect. Plenty of room to fill out frame. Good athlete. Works through a high-3/4 slot, fastball sat 82-83 with very effective arm-side run, shows ability to work both sides of the plate, curveball has sharp, mostly 12/6 action and has good feel for the pitch, gets around 76-78 changeup at times to produce some cutting action to the pitch. High upside for the young lefty who should have no problem continuing to develop into a highly sought after prospect in the 2020 class
