Player Spotlight: Kevin Newkirk

 

Stout 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame. Shows quickness with 7.10 60-yard dash. Really projectable left handed swing, hips show good coil, upper body has good balance and hands have speed while controling barrel through zone. 84 mph exit velocity off of tee. Clean footwork on approach to balls in outfield, gathers good momentum into throw. 78 mph on throws in. 

 

 

Swung the bat really well at the Underclass Area Code Tryouts at Baylor in June 2018.
