SCOUTING REPORT

The young 2025 currently stands at 5-8 with a slim-medium frame with plenty of room to grow in the future. Dial has a great feel for his body in space as his motion looks clean. He gets into his back leg nicely with good hip rotation through the delivery. Arm path is long but not rushed, and it comes out at a high 3/4 slot. Added strength and stability from physical maturity will help with follow through stability at release and follow through.

Currently, Dial maxes out at 73 mph. With such a clean motion, maturity and strength should let that number climb quickly. The most notable tool Dial exhibits currently is his ability to spin the ball on both the fastball and his curve. During the event, Dial averaged 2023 rpm with a max of 2100 rpm for the day. That's good for a Bauer Units Max of 30. Dial tied for the first spot in highest Baur Units on the fastball for the day. That means he had the some of the highest spin on the fastball after accounting for velocity. Dial's curveball was no different, coming in at 39 Bauers (2379 rpm): good for 1st place.  #SpinWins
