Player Spotlight: Jack Stroth

We begin our summer spotlight series as we highlight an uncommitted prospect, that is primed to have a big summer. Today we look at Jack Stroth from Conway High School. Stroth is a premium defender with doubles power. He plays for the Arkansas Prospects in the summer. He is ranked No.18 in the 2018 Class Rankings, and is the No. 3 catcher in the Class.


Scouting Report

Stroths is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound backstop with an athletic frame. He is a solid defender with pop times consistently in the 2.01-2.11 range. He blocks and receives with solid effort and technique. Offensively, he starts with an athletic stance with a slight load and stride. He attacks the baseball with a quick bat and remains balanced through extension.
