Illinois Scouting Director
The Prep Baseball Report Scouting Staff held a Pitcher Showcase and Analysis on Tuesday, September 30th at The Max in McCook, IL. In a smaller setting, six arms in the 2016-2018 classes worked closely with our staff and received hands on instruction during and after their bullpens.
Palatine’s Chris Refka impressed with the top fastball velocity, touching 86 mph from a long, loose, high-3/4 arm slot. Today, we will take a look at the velocities of each pitcher, while videos and scouting reports will follow in a few weeks.
