In a game postponed due to lightning yesterday, Seneca Valley took their 2-0 lead today and added to it for the win. SV advances to the WPIAL AAAA Championship against Mt. Lebanon.

Prep was led by Eli Flynn’s three-run home run in the 2nd inning which jump started an offensive barrage that led to the mercy rule.

GC pitcher Matt Gordon went the distance for the shutout striking out 12. The sophomore was in control throughout touching 84MPH several times.

Liberty (20-3) used a 16 hit attack to down Pleasant Valley in five innings. James McCarthy led the Liberty offense with two doubles and six RBI.

Jacob Wloczewski pitched a complete game five-hitter to lead Whitehall (12-9) to the win.
