New Episode LIVE now! - At The Yard Podcast

SAN MATEO, CALIF. - Our Preseason ID series rolled along last Sunday, on the campus of College of San Mateo, at scenic Hilltop Stadium. We have a couple more stops coming up over the next two Sundays (South Bay, East Bay). There are players who attended who will be receiving invitations to some of our most exclusive event opportunities such as Future Games.

Players were put through the traditional showcase workout that included the 60-yard dash (w/10 & 30-yard splits as well), hitting session, defensive session, concluded with pitchers throwing a 15-20 pitch pen session.

In the coming days we’ll begin to roll out more statistical leaders, categorical leaders, scouting reports, and much more. Until then we’ll take a look at the showcase categorical stats leaders.

From a base-stealing start position using Swift Technology

Exit Velocity

These numbers are a represent what the players did in live BP, velocities via TrackMan B1 unit

Infield Velocity (MIF/3B/1B)

Making throws from 3B and SS positions, velocities via Stalker Sport II

Outfield Velocity

Making throws to 3rd base and home plate from right field

Catcher Velocity

Popping from the crouch position, Stalker II set on out-bound from behind the catcher

Pop Times

Each made 4-5 throws down to 2nd base
