PBR/NCBCA Coaches Poll: March 26, 2019
March 26, 2019
For the third year, Prep Baseball Report of North Carolina is teaming up with the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association (NCBCA) to release the PBR/NCBCA Coaches Poll for each of the NCHSAA's four classifications. Today we release the first poll of 2019 with several familiar teams sitting at, or near the top of each poll.
In conducting the poll, over 80 coaches from across North Caroilna, representing each of the eight regions, as well as each of the four NCHSAA Classifications, are surveyed to give their top 10 teams in 1A, 2A, 3A, and/or 4A classes. PBR of North Carolina collects the information and assigns points to each team receiving a vote. A first place vote is worth 10 points with 10th place vote receiving 1 point. As all of the votes are tallied, the PBR/NCBCA Top 10 in each classification is ready to be released.
This poll will run every other week throughout the spring season. Below are your current top 10 teams in the state of North Carolina.
*All Records are through March 24, 2019
