RECRUITING ESSENTIALS: SOCIAL MEDIA College coaches and pro scouts are watching. When you get off the bus, they are watching. When you are working in the cage, they are watching. When you are playing for a championship in front of 3,000 fans, of course they are watching. The reach of recruiting information does not have a limit. Coaches want to know what they are getting on the field, in the classroom, and in the locker room, so they are watching. The growth and popularity of smart phones has led to another avenue coaches and scouts can gain valuable information. These same communications are also received by enemies, haters, and those that are jealous. Think before you post.
