2/21/21

 

Positional Profile: 3B Ranked #28 in the Nebraska 2022 Rankings.
Body: 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. Strong, athletic build.
Defense:   Average actions in INF, hands work well out front. Extra tap before release.
Arm: Right.  INF - 84 mph.  High ¾ release
Hit: Right.  Compact, square stance. Quiet lower half. Quick hands, slight uphill bat path. Middle/pull approach.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Posted a top exit speed of 91.08 mph per Trackman.
Run: 7.06 runner in the 60.

Positional Profile: 3B
Body: 6-foot-1, 191-pounds. strong, athletic build
Defense:  athletic to and through baseball, some work needed with glove handling
Arm: Left.  INF - 82 mph.  over the top release, strong, accurate
Hit: Right. compact, slightly open stance, wraps bat some in load slight uphill whippy bat path, creates power
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. middle/pull approach, pop to pull side
Run: 7.36 runner in the 60. 

Delivery: repeatable, slightly closed off, crossfire, only works from stretch
Arm Action: Left. high 3/4 slot, somewhat short arm
FB: T80, 79-80 mph. straight, okay command
CB: 65-68 mph. tight when on top, 11/5 shape
CH: 71-72 mph. firm, okay feel

6-foot, 182 pound two-way player ran a 4.31 home to first. Athletic build with present strength. Crouched open stance, leg kick trigger, compact load, quite head,  barrel gets on-path to the ball with hard pull side contact during round of BP. Posted an 84 mph exit velocity off a tee. Corner actions in the infield, avg. feet, works through the ball with extra tap in release, accurate arm across the infield. On the mound, topped out at 77 mph mid ¾ arm slot. Compact arm action on the backside and long out-front. Repeats well, some stiffness in finish and tendency to fall off the glove side. 10/6 shaped breaking ball with gradual shape, some depth. Feel for change up around the zone with straight action.

 

6/10/19

 

6-foot, 175 pound infielder ran a 7.62 60 yard sprint. Slight crouched open stance, compact barrel path, shows bat speed. Middle of field/Pull side approach during round of BP. Posted an 77 mph exit velocity off a tee. Corner actions in the infield, plays ball deep in stance, funnels through the body, low ¾ arm a lot that was accurate across the infield.

 

 

11/4/18- 5-foot-10, 160 pound infielder ran a 4.43 home to first. Lean athletic frame, should continue to develop physically. Open stance, easy short load, rhythm leg kick timing, okay lower half, good balance. Shows speeds and lift in hands. Pull side approach, uphill barrel path. Pull side approach. Posted an 76 mph exit velocity off a tee. Average actions in the infield, hands work through the body, feet get heavy, clean exchange with extra tap from a high ¾ slot. Topped out at 73 mph across the infield.
