Here are a few statistical standouts:

STAT STORY

+ We had over 40 players run a sub-7.00 or better in the 60-yard dash, while 17 athletes clocked a sub-6.70 time on our lasers. OF Cole Wilcox (College of Lake County) ran the fastest of the day, blazing his way to a 6.40. He showcased that wiry strength later on in his workout, finishing the day with a 91 mph max to home from the outfield as well.

+ At the plate, 10 players recorded max exit velocities north of the century mark, led by C Ethan Toone (Bryant & Stratton - WI) and RHP/OF Douglas Loden (Joliet JC). They each used strong, physical frames to blast balls at 106 mph off the barrel, tying for the event lead. Both Toone and Loden translated this type of impact strength to the field as well. Toone led the catcher’s in throwing velocity (84 mph), while Loden peaked at 90 mph from both the outfield and the mound.

+ Seven pitchers breached the 90+ mph mark with their fastballs during the bullpen session of this event, while 22 total arms threw above 88 mph. Leading the charge from Kankakee CC was RHP Kyle Iwinski, as the 6-foot-2, 205-pound sophomore bumped his fastball up to 94 mph, sitting at 93-94 mph throughout. RHP Harrison Dubois (South Suburban JC) and RHP William Melby (Triton JC) each topped at 91 mph or better with their fastballs. arm strength of 90 mph or better.

+ Seven different outfielders recorded a throw to home above 90 mph during the workout portion, led by OF Andrew Smart (Oakton CC), who’s best strike bumped a 93 mph max. Smart’s physicality stood out when watching him workout, as the 6-foot-3, 220-pound right-handed hitter nearly breached the 100 mph exit velocity mark in BP and he also ran a 7.09 in the 60-yard dash. OF/RHP Daniel Llanas (Bryant & Stratton - WI) and OF/LHP Joshua Williams (Highland CC) each peaked at 92 mph from the outfield and they each recorded 99+ mph exit velocities in BP, too.

+ MIF Sebastian Parchomenko (Oakton CC) is a projectable 6-foot-1, 184-pound athlete with lean, wiry strength attached to a whippy right-handed arm that paced the infield crop in max throwing velocity, topping at 89 mph. 1B Cameron Hunter (Highland CC), a former PBR Future Games participant, and MIF Thomas Schroeder IV (Triton JC) finished a few ticks belod Parchomenko, bumping highs of 87 mph across the infield.
