3/08/20

 

Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Slight open stance, compact swing, flat swing plane, occasional lift through zone, gap to gap with solid contact.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. C - 81 mph. 2.07-2.25 pop times. ¾ slot, tailing action on throws, solid accuracy to bag.
Defense: NA
Run: 7.03 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Simple repeatable delivery, good tempo and sequence, lands inline, aggressive down mound.
Arm Action: RH. Clean compact arm action with hand quickness out front.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Varying action on FB; thrown consistently for strikes.
CB: 73-76 mph. Tight 11/5 spin, quality shape, lands in zone for strikes.
CH: 75-76 mph. Flat running action with heavy feel in bottom of zone.

5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.12 runner. Slightly open stance, longer stride, solid line drive bat speed, consistently squares baseball, 79 mph exit velocity. Occasional athletic actions behind plate, solid receiver, some active movements to receive, shows ability to block. Avg. hands to exchange, short arm action, throws are to bag, inconsistent and short hops to fielder, 76 mph arm strength with 2.00-2.13 pop times. On mound; rolls into athletic balance point, compact arm action with good hand speed out front. Fastball was 81-83 mph, touching 85 mph, with varying action and flashes of life. Solid feel for 11/5 breaking ball; lands consistently for strikes. Changeup is currently firm with flat action to plate.

5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 4.83 home-to-first time. Square balanced stance, line drive swing plane, simple swing and repeats well, stays inside baseball at contact, consistent hard line drives off bat, 80 mph exit velocity. Blocks and receives well, quiet movements behind plate, some length to exchange, tends to throw uphill occasionally, solid accuracy to bag, 74 mph arm strength with 2.2-2.34 pop times. On mound; works into athletic balance point, short compact arm action, lands inline to catcher, solid extension out front. Fastball was 74-76 mph, throws for strikes, with occasional life. Good shape on 11/5 curveball with avg. depth. Has feel for changeup with solid command of zone.
