3/08/20

 

Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-10, 175-pounds.
Delivery: Stretch only, short balance point, aggressive down mound, lands slightly across body creating cross fire to plate.
Arm Action: RH. ¾ slot with above avg. arm quickness out front.
FB: T86, 85-86 mph. Slight running action on FB; consistently thrown for strikes.
CB: 74-75 mph. Sharper break on 11/5 shaped curveball.
CH: 76-79 mph. Solid fade and sink for strikes.

 

3/10/19

 

5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; rocker step into quicker balance point, lands across body, compact arm action with extension to plate. Fastball was 84-85 mph with cut action; when thrown down in zone. Late break on solid 11/5 curveball for strikes. Occasional arm-side running action on changeup; tends to miss up in zone. 7.52 runner. Square wider stance, body load, transfers weight well through swing, line drive plane, hard contact when pitch is elevated, mid/pull approach, 81 mph exit velocity. Works around and through baseball, sure hands, solid/avg. tempo and quickness, longer release on throws, has carry and accuracy to bag, 81 mph arm strength across infield.

 

 

7/30/18- 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Medium balance point, hitchy front leg, lands inline, has rhythm in delivery, clean compact arm action. Shows ability to repeat delivery well. Fastball was 80-83 mph with varying action. Solid shape with tighter spin on 11/5 curveball. Above avg. fade and sink on changeup. 5.06 H-1B time. Compact frame with present strength, leg kick trigger with active hand load, shows pop in bat, strong pull side line drives and fly balls, 88 mph exit velocity. Fields out front, sure hands, works through ball, has actions in field, quick release and follows throws to target, 78 mph arm strength across infield. Follow in 2021 class.
