PBR Draft 100 Spotlight: Blayne Enlow

By Nathan Rode

Last summer, RHP Blayne Enlow (St. Amant HS, LA) was one of the most dominant pitchers on the showcase circuit. A Louisiana State recruit, he logged six innings across two appearances at the Tournament of Stars and struck out 10. Then, at the East Coast Pro Showcase, he wriggled out of a jam by striking out the side with his nasty breaking ball. Enlow was sitting 90-93 mph then. His fastball hasn’t been the same this spring, but scouts are looking past that. He still has some of the better command among high school arms and features a plus curveball. Couple that with his projectable frame and he still figures to be a high-level arm down the road.
