Scott Hood
OK/MO/KS/ARK Assistant Scouting Director

Putting up runs was no problem for the Washington Warriors in this year's 3A State Tournament with multiple players have noteworthy weeks, but none stood out more than 2023 SS Camden Bates.  The Tennessee commit started his State tournament with a 4-4 game in the opener with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.  He followed that up in the semi-finals with a 1-2 performance while drawing 3 walks to go along with 2 stolen bases.  In the Championship game he had another multi-hit performance with a 3-4 effort including two more doubles and a stolen base helping the Warriors to winning their State Championship 13-2.

Congratulations to Camden Bates on earning this year's 3A State Tournament Most Valuable Player and to the Washington Warriors on their State Championship.
