Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Canes teamed up for a scout day featuring 27 players from the 2023 class to a few 2027 grads.  The prospects took part in a traditional showcase with Swift Laser timed 60's, defensive radar gun readings, pop times, tee exit velocities, and bullpens.  We take a look at some of the top performers from the day down below.

The top fastball velocity from the event belonged to 2024 grad Grayson Roberson at 82 mph.  Corbin Lewellen led the way for the 2023 class at 81 mph and Joey McLaughlin had the top velo from the 2025 class at 77 mph.  Kamden Mantooth topped the charts for the 2026 class at 73 mph.

McLaughlin continued his impressive day leading the way with the top laser timed 60 at 7.11. 2025 grad Rocky Joyce was right behind him at 7.14 with Trenton Coe leading the way for the 2024's at 7.23.  The top 60 time from the 2023 class belonged to INF/C Anthony Geier at 7.28.  To go along with his event leading fastball, Roberson also had the top exit velocity from the tee at 87 mph with McLaughlin right behind him at 86 mph.  Geier and Lewellen both topped the charts for the 2023's at 84 mph.

In the infield it was Roberson leading the way at 80 mph across the diamond.  Logan Meyer had the top infield arm for the 2023's at 75 mph and Mantooth topped the charts for the 2026's at 71 mph.  Roberson continued to show his arm strength leading the way in the outfield at 84 mph with 2023 Lewellen right behind him at 82 mph.  Summit Rogers showed his potential arm strength leading the way for the 2026's at 78 mph as well as Kaden Twyman showing off an impressive 77 mph arm from the outfield in the 2027 class.

2023 Isaac Evans had the top arm from behind the plate at 69 mph with Anthony Geier, 2023 Holden Jones, and 2024 Jaxon Selman coming in right behind him at 68 mph.  Geier had the top pop time with a range between 2.00-2.22.  Jones came in with a top pop time at 2.15 and Evans posting a top pop time at 2.19.
