Northern Nevada Prospect Update: Top Exit Velocity

Brett Harrison
Nevada Scouting Director

The Northern Nevada Prospect Update attracted a wave of prospects eager to showcase the improvements made over the past couple month. We saw over 60% of players in attendance improve their numbers, which could be directly attributed to the work players have put in during the current down period. Even thought this period has not been ideal for prospects in the prime of their recruiting periods, the PBR staff was extremely impressed with the quality of performances carries out at the Prospect Update with both physical and statistical gains this past weekend.

Today, we break down the Top Exit Velocities with Stanford commit and current #3 ranked 2022 prospect, Robby Snelling, earning an event best 101 mph Exit Velocity with an Average Exit Velocity of 94.23 mph over the duration of his hitting session. Following Snelling, a pair of prospects, McQueen's Kaiden Regan and Churchill County's Shaw Lee, each posted an Exit Velocity of 96 mph which was a three mph increase for Regan and an eleven mph boost for Lee. This event allowed prospects from all over Northern Nevada to update certain statistical categories to validate the work they have put in throughout the down time and tomorrow we will continue on with the Top Performers: Top Fastball Velocity to shine light on the depth of arms throughout one of the most overlooked areas of prospects on the west coast. #BeSeen
