NorCal Rising Stars: Stats Leaders

LATHROP, CA. - The Northern California Rising Stars showcase had 35 players taking part in the showcase where players were put through traditional workout that included the 60-yard sprint, a single round of batting practice, defensive workouts at respective positions, and concluded with main diamond mound bullpen sessions where the pitchers' stats were compiled.

STAT LEADERS

60-yd dash

Base-running start position (hand-held start and laser stop, run on RF warning track). It was a cool sub-50 degree morning and these times would have undoubtedly been better on a warmer day.

These numbers are a represent what they players did in one round of live BP, velocities recorded using TrackMan.

Infield Velocity (MIF/3B/1B)

Each throwing from their primary position, velocities gathered with Stalker Sport II

Outfield Velocity

Making throws from RF to 3B and home, two throws to each base

Catcher Velocity

Popping from the crouch position, Stalker II set on out-bound from behind catcher

Pop Times

Each made 4-5 throws down to 2nd base

Max FB Velocity

Gathered during bullpens on main diamond mound
