Prep Baseball Report and Next Level teamed up to host a scout day that featured 47 total players hailing from the 2022 class to a handful of 2027's.  We take a look at the leaders from the event with looks at the top fastball velocities, best home to first times, top exit velocities, positional arm strength readings, and top pop times.

The top fastball from the Scout Day belonged to 2024 Caden Howell from Lansing at 86 mph.  Kyler Horsman led the way in the 2023 class at 84 mph with Carter Cushing topping out at 78 mph in the 2025 class and Garrett Ramos coming in at 72 mph from the 2026's.

The fastest home to first time from the event was posted by Preston Denmark of Liberty North in the 2023 class at a smooth 4.06 seconds.  Isaiah Kincade had an all-around impressive day starting with his 2024 class leading 4.31 seconds from home to first.  Nicholas Hotujac led the way in the 2025 class at 4.62 and Aden Leftwich posting the top time in the 2026 class at 4.89 seconds.

Where the event really shined was where multiple players showed their strength with the barrel in exit velocities.  Elijah Kincade had the top exit velo at 91 mph with Adam Johnson and Kyler Horsman right behind him in the 2023 class at 89 mph.  Caden Howell and Keegan Riemer both posted the top exit velos in the 2024 class at 90 mph each.  Redi Oakley led the way in the 2025 class at 80 mph with Garrett Ramos and Aden Leftwich posting the top exit velos in the 2026 class at 71 mph and Tyson Kratochvil posting the top 2027 exit velo at 70 mph.

The top infield arm across the diamond belonged to 2024 Kyle Strother showing solid arm strength with a reading of 83 mph.  Preston Denmark posted the top velo in the 2023 class at 78 mph.  In the outfield it was Caden Howell taking the top spot at 84 mph with Isaiah Kincade right behind him at 82 mph.  Behind the plate there were two backstops posting pop times below the 2.0 mark with both Adam Johnson at 1.98-2.03 and Elijah Kincade at 1.98-2.19 both coming from the 2023 class.  Adam Johnson also had the top catcher velocity from the crouch at an impressive 77 mph.
