Nevada Player of the Year Announced

The 2019 spring high school season in Nevada generated some incredible individual moments and performances throughout all corners of the state. As the spring high school season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Report is excited to announce one player who emerged ahead of the competition at all levels in the state of Nevada. This player has been selected not only for their outstanding statistical numbers, but also for their overall effect on their high school program.
Roberts led the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks to their first Nevada State Championship. Roberts hit .444 with 13 home runs and 58 RBI and played in all 42 of the Diamondbacks contests. He was pitched as well going 6-2 on the mound with a 1.95 ERA, striking out 84 in 43 innings of work.
Aaron Roberts’s all-around performance, as well as the impact he has had on Desert Oasis High School, has earned him the 2019 Prep Baseball Report Nevada Player of the Year honors.
