As we approach the spring season, we would like to highlight some uncommitted players from across the state that you should get out and see this spring.
The 2023 class across the state has a plethora of talent and there are still a few remaining targets in the Richmond area that you should get eyes on this spring.

Hank Shield has possessed some physical tools for quite some time and in 2022 he started to display them in game a little more consistently. Power potential from the left side of the plate and it is some pretty easy juice. In the summer our staff saw Shield on the mound where he sat mid 80's and got up to 87 from a higher three-quarter slot. Shield could be the power arm that Collegiate is looking for this spring.

Raymond Chase Thomas is a 5-foot-9 athletic defender with solid hands in the infield and the versatility to move around defensively. Short compact stroke at the plate with some strength to the pullside. Thomas could be a potential leader for the Clover Hill Cavaliers in 2023 and an uncommitted player to watch.

Jack Bowles is a senior outfielder at Hanover High School. While the Hawks had a fair share of their roster graduate from the 2022 state championship team, Bowles could be a steady force in the box for Hanover. Contact bat from the left side, above average runner, and solid defender in the outfield.
