Scouting report
New Jersey State Games:
Rappaport is a 5-foot-10 175-pound left handed pitcher that throws from an up-tempo delivery. 3/4-arm slot with short arm swing. Motion is similar to Madison Bumgarner- from slinging arm action to throwing across body. Fastball shows some arm side run. Breaking ball has 1/7 break with exceptional hand speed and spin. Able to throw off speed for strikes. Top pitching performer at event, controlled game and showed confidence in stuff. Primarily sat 81-84 with fastball, but flashed 86 a few times, and topped at 88 in first inning of outing. Curveball was at 72-73.
