PBR continues to be a go-to source of information for college coaches and pro scouts. With advanced analytics and video on a players profile page, it allows them to get a feel for a prospects ability and track their progress. In an unprecedented year where college coaches were not allowed on the road to recruit PBR was a valuable resource for them to keep recruiting. There were over 10 million player profile views during 2020 on the PBR site. We will begin to highlight the the top ten most viewed player profiles in the state of North Carolina.

The 10th most viewed player profile page in North Carolina belongs to Bryan Arendt. The 2021 UNC Wilmington commit ranks as the number 1 catcher in North Carolina and the 9th best catcher in the nation, in the 2021 class. His elite arm strength stands out from behind the plate, and he is also an above average athlete. There is pop in the bat and he continues to become a more consistent threat at the plate.

Body: 6’1”, 200 pounds. Athletic, strong frame.
Defense: 1.90 - 2.01 pop times. IF-Solid actions. Fluid feet work around the ball, above average hands, funnels to the belt with clean transfers. C-Relaxed, fluid, quick exchanges.
Arm: RH. C - 85 mph. INF - 94 mph. IF-Long, loose, fast arm, high 3/4 slot. Accurate throws with carry. C-Accurate throws with good carry. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, strong base. Quiet, smooth load with a short stride. Quick, loose hands. Uphill leverage, getting extension. Barrel whip through zone.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity from the tee.  Plenty of bat speed with lots of hard contact. Above average barrel feel.
Run: 3.78 runner in the 30.
