Top Prospect Games II 8/8/18

Abrisz is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back with slight wrap, hips rotate completely with some violence, and he maintains some balance during his swing. Short to ball, showed good approach working gap to gap, level line drive swing, gets uphill on his extension generating carry, exit velocity was 78. At short, active clean feet, rounds ball and fields with soft quick hands. Works through ball to a quick clean exchange. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 82.

Underclass Games 6/20/18

Abrisz is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open slightly upright balanced stance. Short stride on line, minimal load back with a bit of a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some balance to his swing. Very short and quick to the ball keeps hands in tight, some whip to his barrel, good extension through the ball. Slightly uphill path, line drive swing that can get some carry in the gaps, showed good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 86. At short, good feet, rounds ball and fields with a good wide base and soft hands. Works through the ball with a quick clean transfer, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, infield velocity was 80.

Preseason All-State 2/17/18

Abrisz is 5-8 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from an open slightly crouched stance. Short leg kick stride on line, loads down and back, good rhythm. Hips rotate completely and maintains some balance during his swing. Short to the ball with extension throughout, slightly uphill to contact, showed good approach working gap to gap, has some extra base power potential, exit velocity was 78. On the infield, clean feet, rounds the ball and plays through it, fields with a wider base and above average hands. Quick clean exchange, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, infield velocity was 77.
