Lawlar plays the game with an ease and confidence that isn’t common for a HS kid. Has some of the best barrel to ball skills in the country and has proven it against top competition. At the plate, he uses the whole field with authority but shows plenty of pull side power as well. In the field, Lawlar can make all the plays at shortstop and shows the range necessary to stick there in pro ball.
