No. 1 LOGAN GOODNIGHT
PBR Notes: 2016 PBR Super 60 Pro Showcase (February 7, 2016) The 6-foot-2, 188-pound Penn State recruit didn’t have the loudest tools at the Super 60, but he demonstrated a level of across-the-board polish that far exceeded most of his peers. Offensively, he delivered two of the more consistent rounds of BP, back-spinning line drives to all fields. He maintains excellent balance and rhythm throughout, level path, loose, athletic hands, while consistently repeating his swing; registered 99 mph exit velocity. He showed much of the same level of consistency in the field. True middle infield actions, fields the ball with rhythm and tempo, soft, reliable hands, plays through the ball well, showed ability to throw the ball with carry at different angles, 86 mph across the infield. Moves with confidence and without excess; clearly knows his way around the baseball field. Also ran a 6.96 60.
Goodnight graduated from The Linsly School ranked No. 2 in the WV Class of 2016 rankings and is currently a freshman at Penn State.
