Minnehaha Academy 11 Providence Academy 4
Minnehaha pounded out 17 hits to beat Providence Friday night. Nick Terlizzi was 4-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Alex Jordan was 3-4 with 3 RBI's; and Ford Schroeder, Matt Ganter and Kenny Kiratli each had 2 hits. Schroeder picked up his 100th career hit for Minnehaha Academy and had 3 RBI's.
Cretin-Derham Hall 1 Woodbury 0
Cole Gnetz went 6 innings on the mound allowing 1 hit to Woodbury's Ronnie Sweeny to pick up the win Friday. Gnetz finished with 4 walks allowed and 6 strikeouts. Jacob Dickmeyer competed well on the mound going 6 innings and allowed 6 hits, 1 unearned run and had 4 strikeouts. Brett Huebner was 2-3 with the game-winning RBI for CDH.
Cannon Falls 2 Randolph 0
Carter Dombeck and Nathan Overby went toe to toe on Friday night; with Carter Dombeck and Cannon Falls coming out on top 2-0. Dombeck threw a complete game shutout allowing 3 hits, 0 walks and struck out 6 batters. Overby was impressive going 7 innings allowing 5 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned, walked 1 and had 10 strikeouts. Carlton Lindow was 2-3 with an RBI and Overby was 2-3 with a double in the defeat.
Rocori 11 Albany 9
Cole Field led Rocori at the plate going 3-3 with 3 runs scored, 2 RBI's and 2 walks. Hunter Ahrens, Calvin Kalthoff and Alex Budde each had 2 hits as well. Kalthoff added 4 RBI's. Albany's Taylor Fourre was 3-3 with 4 runs scored and Jon Harlander had 2 hits and 3 RBI's.
Simley 4 Hill-Murray 3
Cole Veith was 2-4 with a run scored and 2 RBI's and Walker Rogers had 2 RBI's as Simley beat Hill-Murray 4-3 Friday. Michael Busch added a double as well and scored a run. Zack Landon and Walker Rogers combined to limit Hill-Murray to 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned, 2 walks and struck out 4.
St. Michael-Albertville 10 Big Lake 1
Jordan Joseph, Jaylen Hakes and Jack Kelly combined for 8 hits to lead SMA over Big Lake 10-1. Joseph was 3-5 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI's and had a home run. Jack Kelly was 3-3 with 3 RBI's and Jaylen Hakes had 2 hits, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBI's. Tyler Hollister also had 2 hits in the contest.
New Prague 4 Delano 3
James Fuerniss had 2 hits and an RBI to lead New Prague over Delano. Nathan Berg picked up an RBI as well. Delano's Brady Miller and Brett Norling each had 2 hits in a losing effort. Nathan Berg picked up the win in relief throwing 2 innings allowing 0 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1 batter.
Minnetonka 6 Wayzata 2
Jimmy Ramsey led Tonka on the mound and at the plate as he threw a complete game allowing 5 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned, 1 walk and collected 4 strikeouts. Ramsey also went 2-4 at the plate with a run scored and an RBI. Cody Goedderz had 2 RBI's for Wayzata.
