Minnetonka 4 Hopkins 0
Minnetonka scored 1 in the 2nd, 1 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th to up-end Hopkins on Thursday night. Junior Jacob Raether continues to throw well for the Skippers twirling a complete game shut-out allowing 3 hits, 1 walk and picking up 9 strikeouts.
Albert Lea 8 Mankato East 7
Mankato East 11 Albert Lea 5
Albert Lea and Mankato East split a double-header Thursday night. In game one Albert Lea scored 6 runs in the final 3 innings to earn a victory. Jake Thompson was 3-4 with a run scored and an RBI and Alex Bledsoe was 2-3 with a run and 2 RBI's. Mankato's Brady DesLauriers had 2 hits and Dylan Findlay had 2 RBI's. In Game 2 East exploded for 11 runs and 15 hits to split the day. Brady DesLauriers was 3-4 with 2 runs scored and 4 RBI's, Joe Billiar was 4-5 with 3 RBI's, and Travis Stockman was 3-3 with a run scored, 1 RBI, and a walk. Travis Stockman threw 7 innings allowing 9 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks and had one strikeout to earn the victory on the mound.
Austin 18 Rochester Century 17
In a game of slow pitch softball; both teams combined for 35 runs and 30 hits as Austin beat Century by a a score of 18-17. The Gasner brothers combined at the plate with a 6-8 performance with 6 runs scored and 9 RBI's. Alex Ciola was 3-4 with 2 RBI's as well. For Century; Nick Pearson was 2-4 with 3 runs scored, 3 RBI's and 2 walks. Jacob Fletcher and Nick Smith both had 2 hits and 2 RBI's; and Alex Holets was 3-5 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI's.
Pequot Lakes 4 Aitkin 2
Justan Olson was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's to lead Pequot Lakes over Aitkin. Aitkin was limited to 3 hits in the contest.
Osseo 6 Robbinsdale Armstrong 5
5 players for Osseo had a hit apiece and Steven Fischer had 2 RBI's. Josh Thorp for Robbinsdale Armstrong was 3-3 with a walk and 2 runs scored.
USC 6 Blooming Prairie 1
USC's Matt Harpestad threw 7 innnings scattering 7 hits and 4 walks to pick up the victory. He allowed 1 run and picked up 3 strikeouts. Riley Kloos was 3-3 with an RBI and Jordan Kirkiede was 2-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Blooming Prairie's Lucas Noble and Seth Peterson each had 2 hits.
Chatfield 8 Southland 5
Carter Duxbury had a big game going 3-4 with a run scored and 2 RBI's to lead Chatfield to victory. Southland's Jared Landherr and Chris Webber each had 2 hits. Aaron Paulson picked up the win on the mound going 6 innings allowing 11 hits, 5 runs, 4 earned with a walk.
