On Saturday, February 10th, the PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase will add to our pro coverage and give scouts the first look of the new year into the 2018 draft class along with select 2019 and 2020 grads

The Super 60, held in Chicago at the beginning of February, has become one of the more well attended pro showcases on the circuit, simply due to the caliber of players in attendance. We have seen more than 100 professional scouts year after year at the Super 60. Similarly, the ProCase will bring draft potential candidates from our area into one location to showcase their abilities in front of the professional scouting community.

The event will be held in Henrico, VA at the TSI Training Center, which includes a full sized infield that will allow for open hitting and plenty of room for defensive evaluations.

Since its inception in 2005, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state. Now, more than 850 colleges and pro scouts subscribe to the Prep Baseball Report services.  We take great pride in providing the most thorough and comprehensive high school baseball coverage in each state.

We continue our breakdown of the talent who will be in attendance.

Scouting Report

10/24/17 - Jupiter Day 4 Notebook

Greene has long been one of the bigger names in the 2020 class, and he did not disappoint when stepping on the mound in a relief role for the Richmond Braves. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound right hander showcased electric stuff including an explosive fastball that sat 87-91 and jumped out of his hand. He countered the fastball with a hard, 77-79 slider that featured tilt, and was close to being a plus-pitch when at its best. He also showcased a "get me over" curveball at 71 mph that tumbled some with 11/5 shape. Greene demonstrated the ability to sink his fastball to the arm side, and pounded the zone with an electric arm. A gifted athlete, Greene also exhibits the ability to swing the bat. He has quick hands and strong wrists, and hunts fastballs on an uphill plane. An athletic runner, Greene will have a chance to be the next in a long list of talented two-way players at the University of Virginia, where he is committed.

7/1/17

Greene has continued to progress as a player developing into a high level prospect across the country. Hits from an athletic set up with high hands. Nice rhythm in load at the plate with explosive bat speed. Uses his athleticsm to its fullest offensively with power. ---- On the mound has a smooth easy delivery throwing from a high three quarter slot. Ball comes out hard and has been recorded up to 90 mph. Easy effortless delivery with an athletic arm action. More in the tank.

10.6.16 - Greene is a highly projectable athlete with great quick twitch and shows two way potential. Quick hands with a short swing at the plate. Creates some fast bat speed that should turn to some power as he continues to fill out his projectable frame (6-foot-1, 172-pounds). On the mound Greene showed life in his arm with a fastball up to 87 mph hitting it twice coupled with a late breaking 75 mph slider with put-away potential.
