Sitting AT THE TOP
Luke Leto SS / RHP / Portage Central, MI / 2021Rankings State Rank:1 POS:1
Portage Central SS/RHP Luke Leto may be the top prospect entering his freshman year the state of Michigan has seen in a long time. A legitimate two-way prospect who has good size, standing 6-foot-2, 175-pounds while swinging from the left side. At the plate, Leto has a smooth swing with good pop. Athletic prospect that plays up the middle but can also go behind the plate. On the mound, the righty has been up to 91 mph with a plus breaking ball.

Advanced Middle Infielder
Alex Mooney SS / 3B / Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep, MI / 2021Rankings State Rank:2 POS:2
Orchard Lake St. Mary's SS Alex Mooney was a 2017 Future Games participant, at no time did anyone question did he belong. Mooney has an advanced approach at the plate and soft hands in the middle infield. At the plate also shows good pop, drove a ball off the LF fence during game play at the Future Games. Can play anywhere in the infield, has the baseball mind of an upperclassman. Runs a 6.81 60-yard dash.

Athletic Outfielder
Saborn Campbell OF / 2B / Detroit Country Day, MI / 2021Rankings State Rank:3 POS:1
No. 3 Country Day OF Saborn Campbell may be the top athlete in the class. A natural ball hawk in the OF speed to go along with it. Runs a 6.80 60-yard dash along with good routes he covers a lot of ground. At the plate has a smooth swing that works the entire field. Younger brother of 2017 Future Games participant Jon Campbell who led Team Michigan in hitting. *Video from 2016

Switch-hitting two-way prospect
Anthony Migliaccio C / RHP / Country Day, MI / 2021Rankings State Rank:4 POS:1
No. 4 another Country Day prospect C/RHP Anthony Migliaccio has grabbed the attention of several coaches. Has a strong arm with raw tools. Switch hitting catchers with power are always a limited commodity. Along with that, Anthony can jump on the mound and run his fastball up to 83 mph. *Video from 2016

Another Big Arm From Brother Rice
John Locker RHP / OF / Brother Rice, MI / 2021Rankings State Rank:5 POS:1
Former Brother Rice Warrior's Matt Rupenthal (Vanderbilt) and Karl Kauffman (Michigan) have laid a great foundation. Could No. 5 John Locker be the next big Warrior to enter the spotlight? At the Junior Future Games try out, the 5-foot-10 175-pound righty was into the low-80s with plenty of ceiling left to reach. |
