No. 1 Strongsville (17-2) beat Mentor 13-3 in five innings. Senior Dan Kasian improved to 3-0 on the mound. Senior third baseman Brennan Singleton went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles, a RBI, and 3 runs. Senior 2B Will Cicerchi hit his second homerun of the year.
No. 2 Grove City (19-2) still has to finish their game against Pickerington Central. The game is suspended in the 11th all tied up at 13-13.
No. 3 Moeller (16-4) beat LaSalle 10-4. Moeller scored 6 runs in the first inning and were up 10-0 before LaSalle scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th. John Tanner picked up the complete game victory allowing 6 hits and just one earned run while striking out 6 Lancers. Ty Amann led the Moeller offense going 3-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. Zack Shannon and Jordan Simpson doubled. Nick Edwards drove in 2 runs and Cameron Whitehead went 2-4 with a double and Riley Mahan went 2-4 with 2 RBI.
