MOKAN Preseason All-State: UTIL Scotty Fegen

Andy Urban
KS/OK/MO/AR/Creekside Scouting Supervisor

As we quickly approach our most talented event of the year, the MOKAN Preseason All-State, PBR Kansas will highlight some of the top players already slated to be at the event. Today, we take an in-depth look at 2024 utility Scotty Fegen. Fegen will has the speed and arm strength to play any of the three outfield positions. On the infield Fegen shows plenty or range with excellent lateral movement. Offensively, Fegen has a flat, gap-to-gap approach with a knack for finding barrels.

5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic frame with compact strength, particularly in the lower half. Performed throughout the weekend for a Competitive Edge squad that won the 16U bracket, earned himself a spot on the all-tournament team. Athletic, high-motor player; ran a 6.85 last November. Quick right-handed stroke with bat speed, repeats and stays on a flat plane through the zone. An uncommitted incoming junior to note in Kansas.
