2023 is finally here, and PBR Maryland kickstarted the new year with our Preseason ID and Rising Stars Showcases on January 21st. Over 90 players from Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania participated in a pro-style workout in front of our PBR Maryland staff.

The Preseason ID serves as an identifier heading into the spring high school season, giving our scouts as well as college recruiters a list of 2023-2026 graduates to follow as they plan their spring coverage. This specific event allows our staff to see what players have taken advantage of the offseason, identify new prospects to add to our follow lists or see already familiar players who are quickly on the rise; all while bolstering the players profile with tech metrics, stats, video and scouting reports seen by more than 800 colleges across the country.

The Rising Stars showcase serves as an identifier for invitations to play for Team Mid-Atlantic at the Junior Future Games in late July. The Junior Future Games runs in conjunction to the Future Games that features the top rising sophomores and juniors from across Prep Baseball Report's coverage area. The Rising Stars showcase specifically allows Class of 2027 and 2028 players to jump on the recruiting process early, and update their PBR profile with metrics, video and much more.

Below, our PBR Maryland staff continues to highlight top performers on the day with a look at the Most Projectable Arms.
