Solid, athletic body type and 5-foot-8, 200 pound frame. Hits from a taller slightly open stance. HIgh leg kick and short, smooth back load for rhythm and timing. Creates nice hand separation and swings the bat with intent. Explosive lower half, quick hands, and fast bat speed evident. Short uphill swing path with an exit exit velo of 83 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some power present. Athletic in the infield and plays through the ball with soft hands, fluid footwork, and showed a quick, clean exchange. Funnels ball to belt and throws with a short arm action from a high three-quarters slot at 78 mph. Ran a 5.06 home-to-first time. Big target behind the plate. Quiet body receiving and sticks it well. Quick footwork and clean exchanges. Short arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 72 mph. Pop times ranged 2.07 - 2.21 on the day.

5.20.17 - Hagan has a compact yet strong frame at 5-6, 175lbs. He ran a 7.27 second 60-yard dash. With the bat, he has a narrow and open setup with hands relaxed in a strong position. Generates some rhythm with the help of a balanced leg kick. Barrel stays in the zone long on an inside out path and extends after contact. Hips turn on a tight axis as he finishes in a stacked, tall position. In the infield, his actions are clean and efficient. His feet are active and allow his hands to work out in front. Showed some arm speed with short action. Behind the plate, he replaces his feet well and makes quick exchanges. Arm works efficiently and throws have carry.
