Physical: Strong, athletic 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame with a durable build and projectability throughout. 8.00 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Wide, slightly open stance with the hands starting with slight rhythm on the shoulder. Utilized a leg-kick stride in order to initiate the hands through a short and flat path into the hitting zone. Cleared the hips slightly early generating a mostly pull-side approach to the LCF gap, worked well through extension creating plenty of loft and natural backspin to the swing. Mature approach at the dish with good separation upon footstrike allowing for advanced power in the box. High finish while hitting into a stiff front side generating a peak bat-exit velocity of 92 mph per Trackman Baseball. A 40% fly ball rate / 30% hard hit percentage showed just how efficient he was during his batting practice round, 23.10 mph top hand speed according to Blast Motion demonstrating how quickly the hands jolt into the zone towards impact. Defensively: The third baseman flashed a wide setup with minimal activity through the baseball early on in the route, soft glove hand played out in front of the body with the chest getting over the toes in the posture, held a medium-high center of gravity with slight momentum towards the target. The arm played whippy across the diamond out of a high ¾ slot with strength to it. INF - 84 mph Pitching: RHP - Started from the far left of the rubber from a narrow setup, small side rocker step into a medium leg lift with advanced control in the delivery, impressive lower half drive while keeping the arm back for a long time allowing for hip-shoulder separation at delivery, held direction well while landing athletically through a high ¾ release. FB ranged from 84-85 T87 mph with a 45% in zone rate per Trackman Baseball, up to 29 Bauer units creating noticeable power on the bump. Mixed in a sharp 70-71 mph breaker with two plane shape at times and 11/5 depth to it getting up to 2286 max spin. Projects the best on the mound and the velocity keeps climbing each time we lay eyes on him.
