2/14/21

Positional Profile: OF

Body: 6-foot-2, 165-pound lean and athletic frame.  Easy room to add strength and size.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate shows a slightly open and upright stance.  Starts with the hands lower and closer to the chest.  Has above average bat speed and hands move quickly through the zone.  Shows some strength at contact.  Upper body is a little stiff but he does a good job of getting the barrel through the zone and using a line drive approach.  Has some raw tools that should help him advance with more experience.

Power: 89 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Arm: RH.  OF-83 mph.  Over the top arm slot with a shorter arm action.  Pulls down on the ball well to help with the throw’s trajectory and carry.

Defense: In the outfield shows a traditional chest forward leg drive crow hop.  Fields the ball out in front of the body and has good rhythm with the exchange to the throw.

Run: 4.27 runner from home to first.
