Justin Barnes: Uncommitted Spotlight

6-19-2018- At 5-foot-10 165-pounds, Barnes has a compact strong body. Defensively he shows solid up the middle actions, with short compact movements and soft hands. He also posses and accurate arm with a quick release. He runs well turning in a 6.82 60 time at the event. At the plate Barnes produces consistent contact by hitting out of a straight away set-up and good feel for the barrel. Displaying plenty of bat-speed (85 exit velo), with an all field approach that produces line drive, after line drive. Barnes is a good athlete with solid all around baseball player actions and will bring versatility to a team at the next level.
