Sophomore OF Tregan Hyder has been lighting it up for the Cardinals this season. In 51 games, Hyder has proven to be one of the best players in his conference. Getting on base appears to be one of Hyder's biggest strengths, as he flex’s a .509 OBP with 33 walks drawn, and 68 hits. Once Hyder is on base, he makes opponents pay, swiping 18 bags and coming around to score 58 times on the year. Hyder has also flashed some power for the Cardinals, leaving the yard 10 times, and tallying 21 doubles. At Labette’s Scout Day last fall, Hyder showed off his speed once again with a blazing 6.75 60 yard dash. Hyder also proved to have advanced bat speed at the plate, and turning in a 99.5 max exit velo. Hyder has a very desirable skillset that will give him a great opportunity at having success at the next level.
