Several more prospects have named their schools recently. A recap of who’s going where:
+ Connor Dall, a 2015 SS from West Chicago HS, has committed to Butler University. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitter is currently ranked No. 85 in Illinois’ 2015 class.
+ Ryan Haff, a 2014 MIF from Hinsdale Central HS recently committed to the University of Illinois. Haff is currently ranked No. 171 in Illinois’ 2014 class. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder impressed at October’s Unsigned Senior Showcase running a 6.86 60-yard dash and producing exit velocity speeds up to 92 mph.
+ Derek Parola, a 2014 SS from Mundelein HS, has committed to Illinois State University. Mundelein’s offensive catalyst is currently ranked No. 134 in Illinois’ Class of 2014. The 6-foot, 165-pound 2-hole hitter impressed late in the season in leading the Mustangs to a Sectional Championship over Libertyville and an overall record of 36-3.
+ Deion Thompson, a 2015 shortstop from Bloomington HS (Ill.) has committed to Western Illinois. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is currently ranked N. 84 in Illinois’ 2015 class.
+ Connor Ryan, a 2013 RHP from Lockport HS and Prairie State Junior College has committed to the University of Illinois-Chicago. The freshman right-hander went 7-4 with three saves and a 2.16 ERA for the Pioneers. He threw 50 innings, allowed 34 hits, struck out 60, and walked only 15.
