The Florida Preseason All-State has quickly become the premier Preseason event in the state of Florida. Over the first two years there have been over 100 committed players in attendance and counting. This event is held for the top 2019s-2022s throughout the state to kick off the Prep Baseball Report's spring high school baseball coverage.

We will begin to spotlight each and every player in attendance. Today, we look at MIF Connor Fosnow (Lake Brantley, 2022).

Scouting Report

08/15/18- Has a strong lower half and a lot of room to grow into his frame. Advanced hit ability. Timing mechanism is really impressive and allows him to barrel the ball consistently. As he gets older, Fosnow should become a very strong offensive player.

07/14/18- Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 156 pounds with a lot of present athleticism and a very projectable young frame. The tools were intriguing both offensively and defensively. Defensively, he is still growing, but the actions work and project to be well above average as he matures. Hands work, good first step and shows rhythm. Offensively, he works with a small leg kick in rhythm. The lower half is balanced and strong, he clears well and is compact and level through the zone. There is an advanced approach for his age and has present feel for the barrel. Overall, there are a lot of present tools with plenty of upside which makes him a high, young follow.
