Andrew Dyke’s two-run homer highlighted Brother Rice’s seven-run sixth inning as the Crusaders rallied for their 22nd win in a row. Jack Guzek pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks and added an RBI double in the victory.
No. 3 Mount Carmel 5, No. 7 St. Rita 1
Connor Spear did not allow an earned run in the complete-game victory. Zion Pettigrew, Alek Thomas and A.J. Lewis had two hits apiece and Thomas went deep for the Caravan.
No. 5 St. Charles North 11, Elgin 0
Ryan Litavecz pitched five scoreless innings and Conor Bizik hit a three-run homer for the North Stars. Zach FIck had two hits and two RBI.

Conor Joyce had a two-run double and scored two runs in Naperville Central’s eight-run third inning. Beau Buchanan and Austin Sherman had two hits and two RBI apiece.
Loyola 5, No. 14 St. Francis 2
Liam McKeough went 4-for-4 and Kevin Knapp allowed one earned run on seven hits and six innings for the Ramblers. Brian Vance added two hits in the victory.
Stagg 4, No. 15 Hinsdale South 3
Abe Shalabi singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
No. 16 Waterloo 8, Jersey 7
Cole Kaipang drove in four runs as Waterloo took an 8-1 lead in the fourth inning and hung on. Tyler McAlister added two hits and two RBI in the victory.
No. 19 Nazareth 6, Marian Catholic 3
Chris Campagna hit a two-run homer and Cesar De La Cerda had two hits and two runs for the Roadrunners. Kyle Kane allowed five hits in six innings and Carson Bartels pitched a scoreless seventh for the save.
Springfield 4, No. 22 Sacred Heart-Griffin 1
Michael Lavin went the distance for Springfield, scattering seven hits and three walks while striking out five. Austin Alderman had a two-run double in the victory. John Plattner had two hits for the Cyclones.
No. 24 Prairie Ridge 11, Hampshire 2
James Mikolajczewski went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Robbie Masini allowed three hits in five scoreless innings of relief after Hampshire scored twice in the top of the first.
Waubonsie Valley 3, Metea Valley 1
Jason Neville pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts and went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Waubonsie. Anthony Greco homered for Metea Valley.
Mundelein 3, Lake Forest 2
Nick Stricker went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI and Wil Michalski allowed an earned run on five hits in 5 2/3 for the win. Cal Coughlin struck out 13 and allowed one earned run for Lake Forest.
Libertyville 4, Lake Zurich 3
Pinch-runner Darren Loos stole home for the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh. Lake Zurich led 3-1 before Jackson Peterson’s two-run double in the sixth.
Stevenson 9, Zion-Benton 4
Justin Kopech allowed three hits in six scoreless innings and Dylan Molek had two hits and scored three runs for the Patriots.
Warren 5, Highland Park 4
Ryan Lee’s RBI double in the fifth inning broke a 4-4 tie and Christian Caban pitched 3 ⅓ innings of hitless relief as the Blue Devils won their 10th straight.
Notre Dame 3, Carmel 0
Tim Simon homered for the second day in a row and struck out three in 1⅓ innings to save the win for Nick Stefanowicz.
St. Viator 10, Marian Central 3
Dan Sullivan homered and Michael Wittich had two hits and four RBI for the Lions.
Palatine 3, Fremd 2
Matt Lamm singled home the tying run and Danny Amato scored the game-winner on an error as Palatine rallied for three in the bottom of the seventh. Charlie Van Dyke allowed an earned run on six hits while striking out seven in the complete-game victory.
Rolling Meadows 2, Buffalo Grove 1
George Bravos pitched a four-hitter and Trent McNally doubled twice, driving in a run and scoring the other as Rolling Meadows broke a scoreless tie with two in the top of the fifth.
Barrington 10, Hoffman Estates 0
Jake Zyzda struck out eight in five innings of four-hit ball and 12 different Broncos had hits in the five-inning victory.
Elk Grove 14, Wheeling 2
Christian Camacho went 3-for-4 with three RBI and and struck out four in two scoreless innings for the Grenadiers. Jakub Sokol had three hits, three runs and two RBI in the victory.
Montini 4, St. Joseph 2
Jake Rosley went the distance, striking out seven to improve to 6-0. Cooper Hynes had two hits for the Broncos.
DePaul Prep 7, Bishop McNamara 1
Julian Gonzalez pitched a three-hitter and Grayson Sanchez had an RBI triple and scored two runs for the Rams. Wil Herbert had two hits and two RBI in the victory.
Jacobs 5, Homewood-Flossmoor 1
Casey Dennison pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and did not allow an earned run in the victory. Tim Randl and Adam Kane had two RBI apiece for Jacobs.
Cary-Grove 5, McHenry 1
Matt McCumber struck out 10 in and did not allow an earned run in a two-hitter for the Trojans. Ben Levicki homered, doubled and had two RBI in the victory.
Crystal Lake South 7, Huntley 3
Michael Humphrey had two hits and Michael Swiatly scored two runs for the Gators.
Wauconda 8, Grant 3
Illinois State recruit Kevin Malisheski struck out five, walked none and allowed one hit in two innings in his season debut after suffering a torn ACL playing football in the fall. Jake Grobelny and Trevor Sefcik had two hits apiece for Wauconda.
Lakes 6, Antioch 2
Ben Milewski went 3-for-3 and Tim Ohlwein pitched a complete game for Lakes.
Batavia 4, Geneva 3
Kyle Niemiec delivered a walk-off single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh for the Bulldogs.
South Elgin 11, Bartlett 1
Mitch Butlivas went 2-for-2 with four RBI and Adam Walker added two hits and three RBI for the Storm.
Glenbard East 10, West Chicago 2
Richard Masciopinto went 4-for-4 and Jake Heyman tripled, doubled and had four RBI for East.
St. Charles East 11, Streamwood 1
Anthony Adduci had four RBI and Niko Klebosits struck out six in five innings of three-hit ball and went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Manteno 4, Crete-Monee 2
Gavin Zimbelman pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and four walks for Manteno. Easton Bertrand tripled and doubled in the victory.
Oswego 9, Plainfield Central 3
Colton White went 3-for-4 with three RBI, including a two-run triple that capped Oswego’s seven-run rally in the top of the sixth.
Plainfield East 5, Romeoville 2
Eddie Marcotte had two hits and David Salazar scored two runs for East.
Lincoln-Way West 3, Reavis 2
Ben Zordani doubled with two outs in the bottom of the eighth and scored the winning run on Adam Knerr’s single.

Jim Richmond had three hits and Ian McCormick drove in two for the Griffins.

Geremy Guerrero pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts and no walks and hit a home run in the fourth inning.

Matt Mier had three hits and Keegan Behary added two in the victory.

Tyler Jones and Tyler Jarnigan combined on a no-hitter in the six-inning victory for Herscher. Jones struck out four and walked four in five innings, and Jarnigan pitched a perfect sixth.
