An RBI double by Griffin Jack, a sacrifice fly by Kalvin Kuepper, an error, a groundout by Mack Blashka, and a passed ball during the first inning and a walk by Trevor Hogenson and an RBI double by Kuepper in the second inning fueled St. Mary Central Zephyrs offense early.
Jack did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Zephyrs, reaching base three times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. Sam Hunt kept Valders off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up three. |
