A beautiful baseball day in Kentucky, and several teams in Florida and Myrtle Beach led to a ton of action on the field last evening. Here is a look at scores and highlights from teams around the state.
#1 Tates Creek 5, Niceville FL 5
Ina tie game in the bottom of the 7th, the lights went out for good and the game ended in a tie. Devin Hairston launched a HR, and Justice Slone drove in 2 runs. Josh Miller allowed 1 hit and no runs in 4.1 innings with 6 K’s.
#2 Mercer Co 5, Boyle Co 3
Jackson Stoeckinger went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Tanner Robbins went 2-for-4 with a HR as Mercer County remained unbeaten on the season. Winning pitcher JT Long allowed 3 ER over 4 innings, and Andrew Yates worked 3 scoreless innings to pick up the save.
#3 Paul Laurence Dunbar 7, Troy OH 1
#4 St. Xavier 10, Cincinnati Elder 3
Josh Finerty had a huge day going 4-for-5 with 3 doubles, Avery Lane went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, and JD Mundt added 2 hits and 2 RBI in the win. Cam Revelette picked up the win allowing 3 ER in 4 innings of work. Finerty fired 3 scoreless innings to earn the save.

#7 West Jessamine 8, Enderlin ND 0
#8 Beechwood 13, Newport Central Catholic 2
Leesville Road NC 4, #10 Male 3
#12 Ballard 5, #19 Trinity 4 (8 Innings)
Trevor Putzig launched a 2-run HR, and Ricky West picked up the win in relief as Ballard got back on the winning track.
#16 Danville 7, Bethlehem 4
Collin Harris continued to further his lead in HR’s in the state as he blasted 2 more to give him 8 on the season. Ben Mahan added 3 hits, and Brian Baxa went 2-for-2 with a double and 4 RBI in the victory. Nick Serey pitched a complete game with 6 K’s to pick up the win.
Tippecanoe OH 7, #17 McCracken Co 5
#20 South Oldham 7, Wayne Co 3
#21 Scott Co 6, Downers Grove South IL 5 (9 Innings)
Johnson McKenzie went 2-for-4 with a double and HR, and Matt Gregory, Luke Lemons, and Matt Malesick each added 2 hits in the extra-inning victory. John Stratton picked up the win with 3 innings of relief work.

#22 Bullitt East 3, Skyline CO 0
#22 Bullitt East 6, Fluvanna VA 1
#24 DeSales 3, Brentwood Academy TN 3 (12 Innings)
After 12 innings, the game ended in a 3-3 tie. Henry Weiter and Joey Hollingsworth each collected 2 hits. Jaylin Blair, Mike Reynolds, and Austin Payne combined to allow no earned runs in the 12-inning contest.
Hopkinsville 1, #25 Union Co 0
Easton McGee fired a no-hitter as Hopkinsville knocked off Union County in a pitcher’s duel.
Bethlehem 8, Western Hills 4
Jimi Keating launched 2 HR’s and drove in 4 runs, and Blake Brangers went 3-for-4 with a HR and 3 RBI in the Bethlehem win. Keating picked up the win on the mound, striking out 10 in going the distance for the complete game.
Taylor Co 10, Seneca 1
Jordan Nicholas and Hunter MacQueary each collected 2 hits, and Tyler Frogge worked 6 innings to pick up the win for Taylor County.
Apollo 6, Grayson Co 3
Apollo scored 5 runs over the final 2 innings for the come-from-behind victory. Nate Hopewell and Zach Hopewell collected 2 hits apiece, and Cole Lyons went the distance with 7 K’s to pick up the win.
Knox Central 7, Hazard 4
Jacob Collins went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Trevor Sanborn, Jaxon Stewart, and Hunter McRight all added 2 hits apiece in the victory. Drew Mills scattered 7 hits and allowed no earned runs in going the distance for the win.
Daviess Co 3, Ohio Co 2
Jack Schneider doubled home 2 runs, and John Stratton added a double in the one-run victory. Stewart Currie allowed 5 hits and struck out 7 in firing a complete game for the win.
Conner 6, Grant Co 2
Dalton Harshbarger went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, Cameron Ross added 2 hits and drove in a run, and Blake Hart chipped in 2 RBI in the Conner victory. Blaise Ostertage allowed 1 ER in 3 innings with 4 K’s to pick up the win.
Franklin-Simpson 8, East Carter 7 (8 Innings)
Logan Alderson went 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Timothy Wimpee and Austin Johnson each added 3 hits, and Seth Johnson launched a HR in the winning effort.
Somerset 7, Southwestern 1
Charlie Dishman went 2-for-4 with a HR and 3 RBI, and Jacob Pelston and Chandler Purcell each added 3 hits in the Somerset victory. Dishman struck out 5 and allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings of work to record the win.
Logan Co 4, Hart Co 0
Joe Holliday homered, and Michael Riley allowed just 1 hit in 6 shutout innings to pick up the win.
Logan Co 8, Allen County-Scottsville 3
Ian Woodall went 2-for-3 with a double and triple, and Matt Harper and Jacob Wood each stroked 3 hits in the Logan County win. Joe Holliday allowed 1 earned run and struck out 9 in 6 innings of work in the winning effort.
Butler 9, Clay Co 1
Ryan Blevens went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Jonathan Thrasher went 2-for-4 with a double to lead Butler to the victory. Kyle Goodman worked 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run with 8 K’s to pick up the win.
Cooper 12, Campbell Co 4
Alex Holland went 3-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI, and Hunter Dunn struck out 6 over 6 innings of work to record the win as Cooper improved to 3-1 on the season.
Murray 15, Fulton Co 0 (5 Innings)
Ryan Alderson went 2-3 with 4 RBI, Dustin Bevel hit a 3-run HR, and Zack Grogan and Tanner Foster each added 2 hits in the Murray victory. Taylor Nelson pitched a 5-inning no-hitter with 10 K’s to pick up the win.
LCA 4, Nelson Co 0
Cody Kalinowski tripled in a run, and Lincoln Henzman added 2 RBI as LCA shutout Nelson County. Connor Milslagle struck out 5 in 4 scoreless innings of work to record the win.
Shelby Co 7, Valley Station 0
Bobby Crisp went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Zach Holmes went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Matthew Gammon and Kipp Moore each added 2 hits in the win. Kyler Dugle and David Fitzgerald combined to allow just 3 hits while striking out 10 in the shutout.
Shelby Co 13, Bardstown 3 (5 Innings)
Matthew Gammon went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI, and Kipp Moore and Dillon Boone each drove in 2 runs in the rout. Michael Gammon picked up the win allowing 3 earned runs while striking out 4 in 4 innings of work.
North Oldham 4, Fern Creek 0
Cameron Masterman went 2-for-3, and Ethan Cleary struck out 8 in 4.1 innings to pick up the win.
East Jessamine 9, Jeffersontown 7
Cameron Popp drove in 2 runs and worked 5 innings on the mound with 5 K’s as East Jessamine held off a late rally by J-Town to hang on for the win. Brandon Johnson homered in the Jeffersontown loss.
